1. Create a short, easy to remember and self-explanatory (“talking”) e-mail address, e.g. navi@my-circus.com
2. Make sure that you can receive e-mails from robot@sedamo.info. For example, by adding the address robot@sedamo.info to your address book.
3. Go with your smartphone to the destination you want your visitors to come to: The entrance to the chapiteau, the fairground, the restaurant or the entrance to the car park.
4. Open the navigation app (Maps) on your smartphone:

5. Make sure that the correct position is displayed. This may take a while, depending on the signal strength of the GPS satellites:

6. Close the navigation app and open the browser.
7. Open the web-page http://sedamo.info/. If your browser asks for permission, please allow access to the current position.
8. The sedamo homepage appears with the note “Geolocation successful” in green.
9. Enter the number displayed (Turing test) and tap the button “Get your sedamo code” at the very bottom of the page.
10. The completed form with the current address appears.
    ☛ However, this may be the address of a house further away, or the address may be missing altogether.
11. In this case, please improve the address:
    1. “Address type”: Select “other”. (Important!)
    2. Input field “Street”: Enter the nearest street, ideally the street leading to the car park.
    3. “House number”: Can be left blank.
    4. ”Building”: Enter a description, e.g. “Parking lot in front of the church”.
12. Enter your details:
    1. “E-Mail”: Enter the e-mail address you want to publish as a navigation e-mail, e.g. navi@my-circus.com
    2. “Name” and “Date of birth”: please leave blank.
    3. “Company”: Enter the name of your circus (restaurant/shop/…).
    4. Fill-in the phone numbers if desired. Please use the international format: +44 123 54321 (+44 = UK).
13. Tap “Next”. If the missing house number is displayed in red as an error, select “Next” again. (You can force to continue.) A list of addresses is displayed.
14. Select the correct address. However, there is probably no suitable address on your first visit. In this case, please select the last item “None of the addresses above (or no address shown).” Tap “Next”.
15. The message “Your sedamo code is:” is displayed. Write down the code (8 letters)!
16. On your smartphone, open the page http://sedamo.info/geo at the destination and enter the sedamo code noted in step #15. Then select “Set Geo Location”.
17. You will receive an e-mail with the subject “[sedamo] Confirmation e-mail”. Please open the link in this e-mail. On the page, select the first button “Activate”. The e-mail address is immediately linked to the street address and can be used for navigation.
18. After moving the chapiteau to a new location, proceed in the same way from point 3: your visitors will thus always find your circus “by e-mail” with always the same e-mail address. No matter where you are.

Tip: Note down the sedamo code for your next visit. You will also find the sedamo code in the confirmation e-mail.

For your next stay, open http://sedamo.info/direct and fill-in the form as described in step #12. (You do not have to be at the destination to do this. I.e., you can also do it from the office). Linking e-mail → address via the sedamo code takes only seconds!

You can put the email address for navigation on your posters, flyers, tickets, business stationery, homepage etc. It works on all smartphones (Android, iOS, KaiOS, Mobile Linux etc.).

You can make it easier for suppliers (catering, tent rental, VA technicians) to reach you by providing the address via navigable email (or sedamo code). sedamo or eMail2address.com is available in many languages (including Croatian, Dutch, Russian).
